“I am a 54-year old female who had been experiencing more upper back, neck pain and frequent migraines over the past 8 years. In searching for answers, I was told I had mild scoliosis, which had never been noticed in childhood. I went through 4 different traditional physical therapy clinics and therapists which helped some but the source of my pain always eluded me. I was told that my posture was mostly to blame rather than the scoliosis, but still none of the exercises really seemed to solve my posture problems or the scoliosis. They were a chore to complete and gave short term relief, at best.
My MRI’s revealed no structural issues so I decided to seek out a PT who knew about scoliosis and found ScolioAustin. Through working with Danielle and Cassie, I have learned more about how my posture affects my back and multiple easy exercises that together target specific small muscles that contribute to my posture problems. I now have a daily routine that I can do in 30 minutes, that are gradually helping me grow stronger. My goal was to decrease the pain and increase strength in my neck and thoracic area, and that is well on the way.
Working with ScolioAustin was so easy. Scheduling was flexible and they were always there to meet my needs. This is the first PT experience I have had where the provider looked at my posture, worked with me hands on for my back and neck muscles, and really spent the time to determine what was going on. They tailored the regimen to exactly what I needed. I would recommend ScolioAustin to anyone with scoliosis, or any kind of ongoing chronic pain problem. Their persistence and dedication to helping me has really gone above and beyond any other PT provider I’ve worked with previously.”

“Danielle is great! My daughter was diagnosed with Scoliosis in August. After meeting with the doctor and finding out about this type of physical therapy I search online and found Danielle. I called and left her a message and she called me back within a couple of hours and found a place in her schedule to meet with us. We are very pleased with the outcome so far and will continue with her as long as needed to help stop the progression.”

“Danielle is fantastic. Her explanations are very clear and she’s willing to take the time to answer ALL my questions… unlike the MDs I’ve seen who just push surgery.
Danielle gently pushes me hard… and I appreciate it because I want to avoid back surgery!!!
I’m 63 and have seen oodles of PTs for back pain since being diagnosed with scoliosis at age 12. No one has come close to having the knowledge and expertise of Danielle. I wish I had worked with someone like her 40-50 years ago! I’m looking forward to next week’s appointment!”

“I am forever grateful to my physical therapist because he referred me to ScolioAustin! Danielle helped me so much. Before her I was always told there was nothing you could do for my scoliosis, I met her and she gave me hope. At first the exercises were difficult for me. Now Danielle taught me how to breathe into my left lung!! She is amazing and my daughter told me my posture improved a lot. I highly recommend her. We are so lucky she is here in Austin.”
